Silico offers two main ways to share your project with others.

Public Projects

If your project is of a public or non-sensitive nature, you can opt to make it public. Public projects are visible on your account profile, and can be viewed by anyone. Copies of your project may also be made by those viewing (but no changes can be made to your original project).

Note that we require you to release your project under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 license, which means others must attribute your project in their work, but are otherwise unrestricted in their use of your material. If you wish to license your projects under a stricter license, you must make your project private, which enables you to specify your own copyright license.

Share Links

If you have a private project you wish to share with others, you can use the Share Link functionality. From within the application Project menu, or from the menu on the Project cards in the Home area, you can see and add/remove share links.

Anyone with access to the share link will be able to view and create copies of the project (but not make changes to your original project). If you wish to restrict use of your project even to those with Share Links, we recommend placing a copyright license notice in the readme of your project. By default no license is noted. Share links can be revoked at any time by you, but any copies created in the intermediate time will be unaffected.
